A self-taught artist, Kathy is influenced by her father Arctic artist Maurice Haycock and his painting partner of 30 years AY Jackson. Growing up surrounded by their work, she absorbed a love, respect and vision for Canada’s remote wilderness. Her plein-air paintings and studio canvases cover Parks and backcountry wilderness, nearby and across Canada, the Arctic and American Southwest. Kathy is an elected member of numerous professional Artists’ Associations. She is represented in galleries and collections worldwide.
